Pathways to Empowerment Bags with The Zahra Foundation
June – July 2024
This winter, we’re partnering with The Zahra Foundation to compile 100 Pathway to Empowerment bags.
Zahra’s Pathway to Empowerment program provides women impacted by domestic abuse with a 9 week development program focusing on building healthy relationships, goal setting and pathways to education, training and employment. At the completion of the program participants receive a handbag full of all the essentials to empower them for the next stage of their life.
The next course is running in August and September, and we’re asking for your support throughout July to make sure every woman completing the course receives a beautiful bag filled with carefully compiled, quality essentials.
We’re already well on the way to compiling the bags, thanks to the generous support of Haircare Australia, Taboo Period Products and Maine Beach body products.
To help complete the packs, we’re asking for your help to donate the following items:
- Lipsticks
- Mascaras
- Deodorants
- Personal Notebooks
We have two convenient drop-off locations:
- Foundation SA - Inparrila, 161 Frome St, Adelaide
- One Rundle Trading – 20 Stuart Rd, Dulwich
Our campaign is officially open from 13 June - 19 July.
This campaign embodies everything we strive for at MumKind – partnering with qualified providers rather than duplicating effort and rallying the support of our community to provide a layer of care and compassion to women facing hardship in SA.
